If you’re coming to visit us here at The Anchor here are some frequently asked questions from our diners. If you can’t find an answer to your particular query, please just give us a call.
Bar: 12pm – 11pm (10pm Sunday)
Lunch: 12pm – 4pm
Dinner: A La Carte is available all day
Kitchen: 12pm – 10pm (9pm Sunday)
We kindly ask to be informed of any allergies in advance of your visit.
We always do our best to accommodate mild allergies but cannot guarantee a nut, dairy, gluten or allergen-free environment given the complexity of our menu.
Our menu is mainly meat and fish led; there are limited options for vegetarians and vegans.
We’re happy to accept walk-ins depending on availability.
We strongly recommend booking in advance as availability can be very limited.
No dress code. Dress up if you like, but it’s not required—whatever makes you comfortable.
Limited on-site parking on a first-come basis. Plenty of free on-street parking just outside the pub.
Ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible, but as a listed building floors can be uneven with small steps; there is no lift.
Most dining areas are wheelchair accessible and there is a disabled bathroom on the ground floor.
Please notify us in advance of any requirements—our team will assist.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our cosy bar (not in dining rooms).
Please tell us at booking if you’re bringing a dog so we can allocate a suitable space.
All outside tables are first-come, first-served due to the British weather.
If you reserve a table inside, you’ll have priority for outside space on arrival.
